This summer cottage which was passed down through the family was in need of a major facelift.  The New York City based family shared this home located in Sag Harbor, New York, and the guests were to be of ages spanning several generations.  We began by renovating all of the bathrooms to have an updated an neutral look with all of the creature comforts.  We then changed the pallet of the entire home to an updated contemporary rustic aesthetic that blended seamlessly with the enchanted 3 acre wooded property the home is on.  The main goals when furnishing were to be comfortable and clean, while maintaining the warmth of generations worth of family memories.  We hit the nail on the head, and our clients now enjoy this charming getaway year round.
