PARK AVENUE

Adam Cassino Design was entrusted with the full renovation and interior design of a distinguished residence on Park Avenue, in a historic 1914 cooperative located in Manhattan’s Upper East Side. Working with a young family of four (plus two large dogs), ACD oversaw every detail, from architectural updates to final furnishings, seamlessly blending classic New York elegance with modern eclecticism. Key interventions included restoring original wood flooring, installing striking checkerboard marble in the foyer, introducing custom built-ins, and adding architectural woodwork and beams to enhance the apartment’s historic charm. Our signature touch is evident in the sophisticated mix of bespoke furnishings, curated artwork, and richly layered finishes. The color palette, a foundation of black, white, and gray, punctuated by serene blues, reflects both timelessness and the clients’ personal preferences. Custom furniture, from sculptural sofas to tailored bedroom pieces were fabricated for the space, while extraordinary touches including artworks by Julian Opie and custom hand embroidered wallcoverings by de Gournay and Maya Romanoff add a refined, gallery-like feel. Every room balances luxury with livability, perfectly suited for a growing family with a love for art, comfort, and elevated design.
